This third week of school reminds me just how busy our children are these days. From a 7 hour day at school with homework later to after school sports and activities, there’s a lot to do.

Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like kids are expected to learn things at a younger age than they used to. I’m sometimes amazed at the level of school work the kids are doing at their ages. {Then again, maybe I’ve just forgotten my own school days.}

Our kids face a lot of challenges. And thank goodness, they usually seem to be up for it.
{Which is more than me somedays.}

Even our little ones have their own stuff. Do you take them on playdates? Maybe you’re part of a Mommy group. It can be tough work learning to share with another toddler! Or maybe it’s simply learning how to put a puzzle together. Watching Elmo teach them what a goldfish is. {I count Sesame Street. Kinda.}

Children’s brains are so ready to learn and able to soak up information like sponges. It’s incredible.

As moms, we have a big job to do in supporting our children. The list seems endless, doesn’t it?

Making sure they eat a balanced healthy diet is one great way to give our kids a boost.

But sometimes it’s a whole lot harder than you’d think. Especially when they go through phases and are super picky.

Luckily we have some great options available. Like PediaSure.

PediaSure Nutrition Drinks

I used to think PediaSure was for sick kids who couldn’t gain weight, but I’ve learned there’s a lot more to PediaSure than that.

PediaSure provides all children with advanced nutrition clinically proven to promote growth and development. So yes it’s great for kids who may be at risk of malnutrition, but it’s equally for kids who are growing well.

PediaSure is a great easy way to provide kids with 25 essential vitamins and minerals, including DHA Omega-3 for brain and eye health and antioxidants to support the immune system.

With delicious flavors that are “kid-approved” and fun packaging, PediaSure is hard for kids to resist too.

{I have to admit the animals on the packaging are adorable too.}

PediaSure is clinically proven for weight gain in children ages 1-12. So if you do have a picky eater who is haven’t a hard time with weight gain, this is a great way to increase their calories.

For kids, like mine, who are growing fine but maybe missing some nutrients, {not from lack of my trying!}, there’s PediaSure SideKicks®, a formula with 35% less calories and 40% less fat, yet with the same nutrition as the original version, plus with protein and fiber. Another note – it’s gluten free and is fine for lactose intolerance.

My Luke is a healthy active 3 year old, but sometimes he simply doesn’t want to deviate from his favorite peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I’ve been having a hard time getting protein into him the past few months. His fingernails haven’t grown much and his doctor said he probably needs more protein. But I can’t just force chicken breast down his throat. Nope. So that’s where PediaSure is a great option for Mr Lukey.

We’ll be trying it out over the new few weeks and I’ll let you know what he thinks!

PediaSure can help our kids absorb the world as best they can with great nutrition. From soccer practice to an art masterpiece to checking out the first fuzzy caterpillar of the season, our kids have many “fridgworthy” moments.

Let’s let our kids get back to doing what they do best – learning, playing, having fun, enjoying life. And with PediaSure by our side, us moms don’t have to worry quite so much about their nutrition.
